Botox used to seem untouchable, only for rich people or certainly only for the vain! Since I work in the beauty industry, I have easy access! It is available right here at Salon Chic. I get an employee discount and that is how it all started. About 10 years ago before I would have even thought I needed Botox- I tried it. It was the thing to do. After all, it’s a service we offer at my salon I better do it! I realized that it was quick, simple, relatively painless and quite frankly NO BIG DEAL! Now, I wouldn’t be without. I have learned so much. It is safe and affordable, with newer products only costing around $9 a unit (I get about 30 units), the cost is comparative to any beauty item I use or have used. Good Lord, if I add up all the wrinkle creams I have tried, Botox becomes a money saver! I have come to find that everyday, average people use it! I have learned that it helps me feel better about myself, it builds my self esteem and just makes me feel better! I have learned that it helps with migraines(many of our clients use Botox for that reason only). I have learned that it can help with facial twitches, eyelid drooping, lifting eyebrows and of course the most obvious is the elimination of wrinkles between your eyebrows (also known as the 11). I continue to learn about all of the new things in this field and it continues to amaze me. It is more affordable than many people think! The most recent item to test (because I work here and HAD TO) were threads! Google- threaded face lift! You won’t believe it! I did two threads, one in each cheek! The results were immediate and amazing! My cheek bones look higher, my skin was tightened and my jowls reduced. One would think such a thing would require surgery and thousands of dollars – NOPE- 15 minutes, $600.00, no down time and easy peasy!!!!! I have learned that Botox, fillers, threads and Kybella (for the double chin) are affordable and not out of reach! If any of this interests you at all, please call the salon and get a free consult. No pressure, no commitment, just good information about what might be for you!
